While racing is what we’re passionate about we also provide great venues for the whole community to host special events and functions.

For special occasions from weddings and cocktail events to birthdays and reunions we’ll help you find a space that works for you and your guests on the grounds of our beautiful racecourse.

If it's educational workshops or conferences you need to organise we can help you make it as stress free and user friendly as possible with plenty of parking and catering to suit your needs.

Hire will vary according to hours/days requested.

Smaller groups and outdoors events can also be catered for around the site at a number of picturesque locations.

21sts may be held, additional conditions are:
• Rotorua Club handles your bar - contact office@rotoruaclub.co.nz or phone 348 5681
• A licenced Security Guard from our preferred supplier is on the door
• Only ground floor lounges can be booked.

NB: The Lakeview & Committee lounges can be combined as one.

A lift has recently been installed, which accesses the Members Club, Balmerino and Lakeview Lounges.

Hours: Functions must close by Midnight and all guests must be off the premises by 12.30 am. 

Bookings: Are to be made through the Secretary’s office.   Bookings must be paid for in full prior to the function including a separate bond. The bond will be refunded after the event subject to the premises being left in satisfactory condition.

Responsibility: The person or organisation booking the function is responsible for charges and other obligations with the conditions of hire.  It is the Hirer’s responsibility to keep their guests in the designated lounge areas only.

Breakages or Damage to RRC Property: These will be at the cost of the Hirer.

Catering:  You may supply your own catering food and non-alcoholic beverages.

Cleaning: Included in the hire is for our cleaner to vacuum/mop floors, clean and restock toilets. It is up to you to remove everything you brought. Wheelie bins can be provided at cost.  Please ensure any broken glass is cleared and safely disposed of.

NB. The Club expect bottles and rubbish to be picked up outside of the lounge in the surrounding areas.  Horses are the number one priority on the racecourse and must not be put in any danger.
